More Copywriting Tips!

Welcome to yet another post with copywriting tips on how best to tackle the difficult task of producing web copy that reads well and is optimised for the major search engines (Google, Yahoo & Bing).
Check out the 3 copywriting tips below, and continue to visit this blog on a daily basis for more helpings of copywriting tips!

1.       Keywords - Know your keyword phrases before you write the copy! Don't just write copy then try and stick the keywords in where you can - this will be obvious to the reader and will damage the flow of the copy.
2.       Word Count - stick to a maximum of 300 words per page of web copy. Why? Online content is different to offline material as it's proven that an online user will most likely skim through your content looking for points that interest them the most (rather than thoroughly read each sentence like in a newspaper).
3.       Following on from number 2, make sure you use sub-headers! We've mentioned this many times before but it's so important it's worth another mention. Sub-headers will help the read skim and find the specific information they're after! However, ensure your sub-headers relate to the content in the next paragraph!
